Construction Progress of the New Minsk Urban Narcological Center

The construction of a modern narcological center in Minsk is currently underway, promising to enhance healthcare services in the city. The project is being executed by the General Contractor SU-26 of Trust No. 4, marking an important step in addressing the growing healthcare needs in the region.

Located within the boundaries of Karvata Street, Vaupšasova Street, and MKAD (the Minsk Ring Road), the construction site spans an impressive 3.78 hectares. It is strategically positioned for maximum visibility from the ring road, which ensures easy access for patients and visitors alike.

As of now, significant progress has been made, with 70% of the demolition work completed. This phase involves dismantling outer walls and roofing, paving the way for the next steps in construction. Currently, electricians from the 120th team are busy laying over 500 meters of electrical cables to provide temporary power to the construction site, ensuring ongoing work can proceed without interruptions.

The upcoming tasks include reinforcing the building's foundations, which are crucial for supporting the multi-level structure planned for the center. Following this, the construction will advance into erecting a monolithic frame, constructing internal partitions, and laying external walls with lightweight expanded clay concrete blocks. Once these structural elements are in place, insulation will be applied using mineral wool to enhance energy efficiency.

The new Minsk City Clinical Narcological Center will consist of multiple blocks, varying from three to seven floors, providing various facilities. Key components will include an administrative and outpatient services area, examination rooms, laboratories, and a hospital section featuring 246 overnight beds and 120 day-care beds.

The building's facade will feature a modern design with light and dark gray ceramic granite, contributing to an inviting and professional atmosphere. Additionally, the center will incorporate essential amenities such as a power supply station, heating plant, and security checkpoint, alongside parking facilities accommodating 130 vehicles.

As construction moves forward, this center aims to become a cornerstone of narcological treatment, ensuring that the people of Minsk have access to high-quality healthcare services in a state-of-the-art facility. Stay tuned for more updates as this vital project progresses!
